Tulip 20.09 Bespoke Headrail Kits fitted with PullAway Drive

The Tulip PullAway Drive is the ultimate child safety device and is fully compliant with the Child Safety Regulations. The drive can be supplied in 1:1 or 1:4 ( for the heavier blinds). The fitting of the PullAway drive allows for the chain to be fitted lower to the floor. The regulations state that the bottom of the chain must not be below 600mm from the floor to be compliant. It must be fitted free hanging and must not be tethered via a retainer such as a P clip.

The way the PullAway drive works with the chain wheel (cog) pulling out of the drive when a weight of 6 kg is applied. The cog is shown below:

This is the drive housing and the slot on the right is where the cog wheel is inserted.

This picture shows the cog wheel entering the drive. There is only one way that this can go in, the dish in the wheel locates with the dome in the drive. Make sure the cog is fully engaged.

This picture shows the drive cog fully engaged. To remove the drive cog pull firmly on the chain.

DONT FORGET THE COG AND CHAIN IS DESIGNED TO PULL OUT WITH A FORCE OF 6KG OR LESS-THIS IS THE CHILD SAFETY REGULATIONS AND IS DESIGNED TO SAVE LIVES!
